Xanthates

Description

Organic derivatives of xanthic acids.

Used as flotation collectors in the chemical industry, they are metallic or organic derivatives of xanthic acids. Different varieties exist and in general the products are not considered dangerous. There are however several which are inflammable, toxic and emit a foul stench.
