Description

Wooden Ties, sleepers, etc.

Mostly treated with creosote. Cross-ties therefore always to be considered dirty cargo. See also under Creosoted Cargo. Other cargo in the same container to be covered with plastic sheets. Do not stow with odor sensitive cargo in the same container.
