Babassu Cake

Description

Residue of Babassu kernel after extraction of oil. Contains about 5 percent oil.

Usually shipped in bags. Is liable to heat and if badly stowed may be subject to spontaneous combustion. Absorbs moisture, thereby having a tendency to increase in weight. Moist cargoes and other wetting may cause mould formation. Is liable to taint by odorous goods.
