When exposed to daylight, broomroot loses color. It should therefore be stowed in darkness and be
covered with tarpaulins. A dry stowage is required.
Shipped in bags, bales or crates. May be subject to loss in weight due to loss of moisture, or to chafing and seepage from bags.
